Family Support Program Application
Before you click to access the application, be sure you can answer “yes” to these questions:
I live in Branch, Genesee, Hillsdale, Jackson, Lenawee, Livingston, Monroe or Washtenaw County
All able-bodied adults in the home are working (or actively searching for work), attending school, participating in job training, or experiencing a life-crisis situation
Required Documentation:
Please be prepared to provide the following documentation with your completed application
*incomplete applications will take longer to process*
Three different proofs of Residency (paystub counts as one!)
All able adults in the household must provide proof of income for the most recent month (if working, this would be paystubs, may also be SSI, cash assistance, child support, and other forms of income)
Verification of participation in training, MIWorks!, or another approved activity
Notice of Case Action document from DHHS (SNAP, Cash Assistance, SSI, etc.)
Current school, college, or job training class schedule
Child-support documentation
Additional documentation may be requested such as proof of DHHS Child Development and Care (CDC) Program application submission and/or denial.

Please note that our funding is limited, and while we wish we could support every family, it is not always possible.
Applications are reviewed around the 15th of each month. If funding is available, we will contact you with scholarship details before the end of the month. If not, your application will remain on file for consideration in the following months. Applications are valid for six months.
