Child Care Network is excited to be named as a facilitator hub
for the 8-county region we serve.
The Michigan Tri-Share Child Care Program is an innovative approach to increasing access to high-quality, affordable child care for working families, while also helping to retain talent and removing one major barrier to employment. Through Tri-Share, the cost of child care is shared equally by an eligible employee, their employer, and the State of Michigan. Visit our Tri-Share webpage for more information. Employers, or anyone seeking additional information, please submit your information here and we will reach out to you!

Early Childhood Talent Pipeline

Through support from the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, Child Care Network is able to offer support to early childhood professionals who wish to further their education in early childhood in Genesee County. This funding is to support the achievement of a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, support with building a portfolio, access to training, and support with identifying and applying for scholarships and completing applications in higher education. The purpose of this funding is to enable child care providers to improve the quality of care they are providing to young children and create a talent pipeline of early childhood professionals in Genesee County.

The Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential is a nationally recognized program that requires 480 hours of direct service with children and 120 clock hours of training in specific subject areas.  Child Care Network contracts with other organizations to provide 120 hours of training to early childhood education staff.
